I don’t know how you do it, but I do want to do it: My 17-year-old son, Brandon, was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop in 2015.
I want to see the video of the shooting.
It’s not something I want, I just want the facts.
In a new video released by his family, Brandon’s mother says police killed her son because they were too quick to blame her son for the crash.
She tells the camera, ‘I know that they didn’t give me the time to talk about it and make my son understand what he was doing wrong.
He was just a young boy, like all of us are, and they were trying to make the situation right.’
Brandon was shot by Seattle police officers Michael Jackson and Michael Smith in March 2015.
He died a week later at the hospital.
The family says the video has not been released to the public.
Last year, the city of Seattle and the state of Washington settled a lawsuit filed by Brandon’s family, accusing the officers of excessive force.
