Arnold Palmer was a bit of a mystery to the world of golf as of late, and as a result, there are a lot of questions surrounding his participation at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Golf Invitational.
Palmer’s participation in the 2018 tournament was previously rumored, and now it looks like he will actually be on the course.
According to a report by Golf Digest, Palmer will not be making an appearance in the tournament due to a medical issue.
The report also stated that Palmer will be making a surprise appearance at the tournament, which will likely be in the final round.
Palmer was scheduled to play in his second major tournament after he won the 2017 US Open, and he finished with a total of nine wins.
Palmer went on to play his second career PGA Tour event at the Arnold Palmer Classic, losing in the round of eight to Bubba Watson.
Palmer is expected to return to the course this year.
